Power Hungry Chapter 6 Michi left her father in the kitchen and went back to her old room. Now that it was light she could make out more of the room. It was just the same. The old fashioned mantelpiece, the two bay windows that took up nearly a whole wall each. The color scheme of the room was a comforting beige and chocolate brown. The bed was the most dominant feature in the room. She remembered staying in this room for much of her childhood, simply because of the bed. Power Hungry Chapter 3Michi didn't sleep well that night. She tossed and turned, waking up every hour or so. Around three in the morning she finally had enough. She sat up, pushing Jason's arms off her and got out of bed. She grabbed her robe off the table and quietly felt her way through her dark room to the bathroom. She closed the door behind her and switched on the light, examining herself in the mirror. Her hair was a mess, which bugged her, but she also had dark circles under her eyes.
